After a few months of feeling like I’ve been “running in the mud”, I’ve finally found some inspiration musically. I don’t know if it’s the weather or just good old writers block, but sometimes when I sit down to produce, play (drums), dj or otherwise, it kind of feels like I’m just going through the motions. I’ve managed to accomplish a few projects (if you wanna call it that), but it’s not exactly what I set out to do. (beats)
Ever wake up the next morning and listen to what you’ve done the night before and ask yourself: “What the hell was I thinking?”….cause the day after it sounds like hot garbage! I’ve had quite a few of those lately and although I keep putting things out, I feel like sometimes, it’s not where it needs to be. Rather frustrating!
Anyhow, I’ve got a couple of things to share (see buttons below) as I decided to get a little creative this time around to challenge myself.
Also for those not aware, I’m nearing completion of an EP with several artists I worked with over the pandemic. I’ve been really slow on the recording and mixing due to a few unforseen circumstances but I’m finally getting to them and will have it out before end of the summer. If I must say, a couple of tracks (both English & French) are pretty dope, even got some R&B flava going on too! Keep an eye out <— (see what I did there? LOL) as I’ll be giving a few sneak peaks here and there as well.
Lots of projects in the works with a few mixes coming as well, so I’ll keep this one short as I’ve got lots to share in the coming months and will save more for next week!
